When Shelly first arrived at Rehema Home, we realized she was the epitome of the Shakespearean quote, "And though she be but little, she is fierce." Shelly came to Rehema when she was three years old. We were notified by a special department within the police, that she needed a safe and stable home. She was severely malnourished and not in great health.
Shelly quickly made Rehema Home her home. She immediately settled in as a member of our family. She has a feisty spirit. There is no question that she is a survivor and a fighter. Shelly has a wonderfully colorful way of living her life. She is confident and bold while still being endearing and sweet.
Shelly is a strong and unique individual. We are happy she adds her special kind of light to our Rehema Home family.
